Andhra Pradesh is launching a unified Artificial Intelligence (AI) dashboard to monitor real-time governance across all government departments. The dashboard, developed by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and a consortium led by Hexaware Technologies, aims to improve decision-making, resource allocation, and overall efficiency.
The system integrates data from over 30 government departments, providing a single view of key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical data points. It utilizes AI and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to analyze this data, identify trends, and predict potential issues.
Key features include real-time monitoring of welfare schemes, infrastructure projects, and citizen grievances. The dashboard will track parameters like school enrollment rates, healthcare service delivery, agricultural output, and road construction progress. It will also analyze social media sentiment to gauge public opinion and identify emerging concerns.
The AI dashboard will offer predictive analytics to anticipate challenges in areas like drought conditions, disease outbreaks, and traffic congestion. This will enable proactive interventions and resource deployment. It will also automate report generation, reducing the administrative burden on government officials.
The project is being implemented in phases, with the initial phase focusing on core departments. The government plans to expand the dashboard’s scope to include all departments and incorporate more advanced AI capabilities over time.
The initiative is expected to enhance transparency and accountability in governance. By providing a data-driven approach to decision-making, the dashboard aims to improve the effectiveness of government programs and services. The state government envisions this as a model for other states looking to leverage AI for better governance. The total project cost is approximately ₹35 crore. The dashboard will be accessible to authorized personnel across all departments and will be secured with robust data privacy measures.
