A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a Courtyard by Marriott hotel project in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, marking a significant step in the region’s hospitality infrastructure development. The project is a joint venture between Navayuga Group and Marriott International, with an estimated investment of ₹350 crore.
The hotel will be located near the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat and High Court, aiming to cater to business travelers and government officials. It will feature 180 rooms, multiple dining options, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and extensive banquet and meeting facilities. Construction is expected to be completed within 36 months.
During the ceremony, officials highlighted the project’s potential to boost tourism and create employment opportunities in the Amaravati region. They emphasized the state government’s commitment to developing Amaravati as a world-class capital city and a major business destination.
Navayuga Group representatives stated the project aligns with their vision of contributing to the growth of Andhra Pradesh. Marriott International officials expressed confidence in the project’s success, citing the growing demand for quality hospitality services in the region.
The event was attended by key dignitaries including Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy, and representatives from Navayuga Group and Marriott International. The project is anticipated to enhance Amaravati’s appeal as a destination for conferences, events, and business travel, further solidifying its position as a developing urban center. The hotel is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for approximately 500 people. This development is viewed as a positive indicator for investment and economic growth in the region.
