A 21-year-old engineering student, P. Sai Kumar, was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on the night of May 16, 2024. The incident occurred around 11:30 PM near the Wipro company in Gachibowli when Sai Kumar was returning home after meeting friends.
Sai Kumar, a resident of Miyapur, was a final-year student at a private engineering college. He was struck by an unidentified vehicle while walking on the roadside. Passersby discovered him severely injured and immediately alerted the police. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries during the early hours of May 17th.
The Gachibowli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle involved and the driver. Initial reports suggest the vehicle may be a car, but further investigation is needed to confirm this.
