* **Cruelty by Husband or Relatives:** This constitutes the highest number of crimes at 9,684 cases, accounting for 48.5% of all crimes against women.
* **Assault with the intention to outrage modesty:** 3,463 cases were reported.
* **Kidnapping and Abduction:** 2,299 cases were registered.
* **Rape:** 1,726 rape cases were reported, with 1,639 being cases of rape with known offenders.
* **Dowry Deaths:** 139 dowry death cases were recorded.
* **Acid Attack/Attempt:** 10 cases were reported.
* **Cybercrime:** 641 cases of crimes against women were registered under the Information Technology Act.

The charge sheet was filed in 95.8% of cases, and conviction rate was 76.2%.

Compared to the national average, Andhra Pradesh recorded a higher rate of crimes against women (66.8 per lakh population) than the national average of 64.5.

Visakhapatnam district reported the highest number of crimes against women (3,449 cases), followed by Guntur (2,841) and Krishna (2,541) districts.

The report also highlights that 88.8% of victims of crimes committed by known offenders were acquainted with the accused.
