Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab, alleging it has deteriorated the state’s situation to a level worse than that previously seen in West Bengal. He made these remarks during a rally in Fatehabad, Haryana, while campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Saini accused the Punjab government of failing to maintain law and order, specifically citing increased drug trafficking and gang violence. He claimed that Punjab is becoming a hub for criminals and that the state’s law enforcement is unable to control the escalating crime rates. He further asserted that the AAP government’s policies have created an environment conducive to criminal activities.
The Chief Minister highlighted concerns about the flow of weapons from Punjab into Haryana, contributing to rising crime in Haryana as well. He stated that the Haryana Police are actively working to curb this influx and maintain peace within the state.
Saini also targeted AAP’s governance, alleging corruption and a lack of development in Punjab. He criticized the party for making promises it hasn’t fulfilled and for mismanaging the state’s resources. He contrasted this with the BJP-led Haryana government’s focus on development and welfare schemes.
He emphasized the importance of a strong central government to address issues like national security and economic stability. Saini urged voters to support the BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections to ensure continued progress and development. He also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to national security and its resolve to combat terrorism and cross-border crime.
Furthermore, Saini accused the Congress party of being responsible for the current problems in Punjab, claiming they laid the foundation for the state’s issues during their previous rule. He positioned the BJP as the only viable alternative for good governance and security in the region.
