Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat on May 10th and 11th.
In Karnataka, on May 10th, he will address a public function in Kalaburagi, where he will dedicate the New Integrated Terminal Building at Kalaburagi Airport to the nation and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth over ₹1,400 crore. These projects include the development of road infrastructure, multi-village drinking water supply schemes, and a multi-specialty hospital. He will also inaugurate the Kalaburagi Airport, built at a cost of over ₹840 crore.
Subsequently, on the same day, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Telangana. In Warangal, he will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train, connecting Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. He will also lay the foundation stone for several railway projects, including the Warangal-Hyderabad MMTS project and the upgradation of railway stations. The total investment in these railway projects exceeds ₹2,100 crore.
On May 11th, the Prime Minister will be in Gujarat. He will visit Surat and dedicate various projects worth more than ₹3,100 crore to the nation. These include projects related to railway infrastructure, road development, and the establishment of a new Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Gandhinagar. He will also address a public program in Surat.
Specifically in Gujarat, projects include the Surat Metro Rail project (Phase-1), the extension of the Udhna-Jambusar section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, and the beautification and improvement of the Surat railway station. The IIT Gandhinagar campus is being established at a cost of around ₹2,200 crore.
The visits underscore the government’s focus on infrastructure development and connectivity across the nation, with significant investments in railways, roads, and educational institutions. The projects are expected to boost economic growth and improve the quality of life for citizens in these regions.
